I frequently recommend the Basic Torso Series to help patients rebalance their muscles. Since we do everything to the front all day, we frequently create torso muscle imbalances.
To more effectively work your neck muscles, alternate rotating your head to the right and left with each repetition whenever you are moving your torso in a straight line.
